Analysis of Santri's critical thinking with Problem Solving approach

This study aims to describe the students' thinking ability in solving mathematical problems with Islamic nuances on subject of 7th grade set MTs Darul Ulum Banyuanyar. Before conducting research, was given learning or knowledge about mathematics nuances, more specifically material. The technique taking research subjects is done by using purposive sampling technique. selected were 3 respondents. In checking validity triangulation, triangulation used time triangulation. results this indicate that high-ability students can pass all indicators critical thinking, creative and inductive reasoning. Meanwhile, for moderate abilities (second third subjects) two go through elementary clarification indicators, not basic support determine strategies tactic. Indicators drawing conclusions (inference) further (advances clarification) be passed, but work carried out, it correctly. are both fluency flexibility, originality elaboration. Whereas reasoning second only met reasoning, namely, fulfilling identifying processes/concepts their tendencies from situation, compiling estimates relevant statement. fulfills one indicator, namely situation.
